Good friends of ours (Chris') took us horseback riding in summer 2001. It was my first time back on a horse in, what, 7 years? And it was my first time riding western. And while it was almost impossible for me not to keep posting, it was SO much fun!!!! It was Chris' first time riding, and Erik and I were very out of practice! But it was a wonderful time.

And here we are on the trail... Charsa took us around on her own, so we could go anywhere. We ever got to canter a little bit. The dog there is Mickey- Erik and Charsa's dog who was actually born there... he followed us all around :-)
Someone was very tired afterwards!
This is Charsa riding a horse bareback she hadn't seen in years and made a wonderful recovery. And Mickey tagging along right behind her :-)
