My Room

And yes, this is just about as clean as it got...
Move-in was a WHOLE lot of fun. Took us two days to set up everything- especially the loft. We kept putting bolts in the wrong places, and boards in the wrong spots. And then there was the computer... and after two long days of setting up, we were MORE than ready to say goodbye.
It was hard adjusting to life alone at first- no parents nagging me to do my work, the freedom to eat whenever I was hungry by swiping a card, being able to study down on a comfy couch in the lounge at any time by a soda and snack machine-- come to think of it, maybe it wasn't so bad after all...

Who needs sleep?
I think I might have seen my bed once or twice over the year... if that...
But I suppose that's one of the hazzards of the Computer Science territory. Staying up for days(and I do mean completely) at a time. My fondest memories of this were:
1. Intro to CS Final: Last day of a week of finals... I came back to my room around 10 after a 7:45 final with intentions to pack. I was leaving at 4 to go home for winter break and in the middle of packing, I passed out because I hadn't slept the night before. I woke up luckily in enough time to finish packing and catch my bus, but it was a close call!
2. Program 2: 2 weeks before it was due, I pulled a 4 day all-nighter and was so exhausted come Monday morning that, upon returning from my morning classes, I went to open the door to the dorm and walked SMACK! into the wall! LOL!
3. Program 2 again: day it was due, I returned from submitting it via my friend's computer and was not only physically ill, but literally passed out on the floor for an hour from lack of sleep, illness, and fatigue. Has to be the absolute WORST experience, but I got a 93 on the program, so I guess it was worth it.
